Day 38
Shopping @ Chicony Shopping Mall!

After going to the mouse street introduced by our local friends, this time round, we headed off to another new shopping place called Chicony. Generally, the few places that we had gone to, other than the Grand Ocean Shopping Mall, are just at the nearby vicinity.

As we walked into the mall, it seems so different from what we saw it outside. I thought it will be just like any typical shopping mall. But, inside, it not only does it looks like our Ngee Ann City Takashimaya Mall, the price also ‘looks’ the same too. Since the things there were just too expensive, we had our lunch at the Ajisen Restaurant in the mall. Upon going out of the mall, it took our surprise that there’s a BreadTalk Outlet. Singapore homegrown brand!

Then, all of us had our free-and-easy session around, while the guys went down to the shopping street to shop their guys’ stuffs. On the other hand, Alvin, Eshlyn, Jun Ru and I went into the IT mall to look around for our earpieces and Jun Ru’s camera’s equipments. All of us walked and shopped around. Whole day of shopping~

Reflections
I am really glad to see our Singapore brand appearing in a foreign country, which is just in front of our eyes. The Singapore Government had always encouraged entrepreneurs to invest and venture, thus expanding their businesses outside Singapore. Take BreadTalk for example, it is one of the successful cases. Look at how far they have come to? It makes me feel proud of them, and proud of Singapore.
