Day 9
sCaRY MoNSTeR

Today is the third day of school, and things are just not going just the way that I want to.

Why? First, was the Flexsim Assignment 1 that made me lost my control over my temper. Second, was the ordering of 鸡蛋炒拉面 that made me felt so embarrassed when the lady said that I never respond to her on time and everybody just turned around to stare at me. So, I ended up to be the first one to queue, and the last one to get my food. Third, was a scary spider which kept on crawling up and down near the toilet door while I was bathing.

Spring-cleaning time! Since we will be getting our clean bedsheets, we cleaned and tidied up the room.

Clean right?

Maids!

Later at about 8pm, some of us went to our "Wanton stall" to have our dinner there. I guess it is the only stall in Wuhan sells food which is not so oily. After having our dinner, Alvin and I went to try out the 臭豆腐 (smelly beancurd)at the roadside stall. And luckily, there's no more 'bad' things happening again. Phew~

Reflections

Sigh. Maybe it's not just my day. Or maybe it's because I am still not used to the environment here?
But honestly, even though Mr Lim had told us about their ordering cultures, I still cannot adapt to the way of how these Chinese people actually never practice the method of queuing up, taking food orders and getting their food items. Back in my hometown, Singaporeans would normally queue up properly for their food, with their orders first come first serve. Here, they would just squeeze their way through to tap their card or shout out their orders to anyone in the kitchen without queuing up. In the end, some people might ended up with their orders last (like me), or getting the wrong food item.

The moral of the story? If you put me in China for half a year, you will never (or ever) expect me to do the way of how they order their food. This is TOTALLY not the way that I am used to!

*P.S: My apologies for losing my temper!! *Guilty*
