Day 34
A break in the hostel

After the few days of shopping, I was SUPER DUPER TIREDDD!!! So, most of us stayed in the hostel instead of going for shopping. Meanwhile, we took the time to finalize everything for assignment 2, did our blogs and started on our last assignment, which is assignment 3.

Reflections
These few days in the hostel, I smelt something, something which seems to be quite awful. I guess pretty much, the smell comes from their drains and the garbage area, since we lived just behind the area. The smell stinks like some rotten pork smell, so weird that you can’t possibly smell it in Singapore. Why? This is because in Singapore, all garbage areas are closely kept in the enclosed collected area and the drainage system in Singapore usually has an S-shaped sewage pipe under the sink. On the flip side, the garbage area here is open-spaced and the drainage system does not have an S-shaped sewage pipe under the sink. That explains the reason for the funny smell at the hostel.
