Day 16 Had our IS lesson on Chinese Wedding and Fengshui today, with a new teacher called Mr Christopher. We had our 2 hours of lesson conducted through the headphone. I personally feel that this concept is quite cool, as it could save the trouble for the teachers to raise their voice in order for every student to listen clearly. Although the topic for today’s lesson is quite interesting, I would prefer the previous teacher because other than the fact that Mr Christopher literally read out the slide contents word-by-word, Ms Anna is definitely more interactive than the current one. Oh well, let’s carry on to our next topic: Knowing that I would have to study for my first BPE written test tomorrow and there will be a 3 days 2 night trip to Three Gorges, I had to give all my dirty clothes to the laundry centre for washing. If I am in Singapore, I bet my mother would scold me for wasting such money. But I guess no choice. If I were to wash the clothes, I would not have much time for studying. Similarly, if I never wash my clothes, I would not have enough clothes to wear. After saying so many things, my main message is that in the past, I would normally depend on my mother for things like washing of clothes and settling for meals. But now, I have to depend on myself, and make my own decisions. In this case, I would have to weigh the pros and cons, and make the necessary decisions. And that's the end of the day. |
